Varsity, JV, and Freshman Volleyball Teams Dominate in Home Triumvirate

In a thrilling showcase of talent and teamwork across all levels, the Riverside Poly volleyball program delivered a clean sweep in the Bear Den Tuesday night — with Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman squads each securing decisive victories over their opponents.

The Varsity team set the tone early in the evening, dispatching the visiting team in straight sets. With sharp serving, disciplined defense, and commanding net play, the squad never let momentum slip away. The clean sweep marked another strong outing in what’s shaping up to be a promising season.

Not to be outdone, the Junior Varsity team followed suit, sweeping their opponent with a balanced attack and strong communication on the floor. The JV squad’s cohesion and energy were on full display as they controlled the pace from the first serve to the final point.

Rounding out the tripleheader, the Freshman team showed grit and resilience, battling the Blackhawks through a full three-set match. After splitting the first two sets, the young squad dug deep to outlast the Blackhawks in a tightly contested third. Their ability to stay composed under pressure earned them a hard-fought victory — and capped a perfect night for the program.

With all three teams securing wins, the evening stood as a testament to the depth, development, and determination across the entire volleyball program.

The Bears will be back in action as they head up the hill to take on the Fighting Scots of Rim of the World Thursday Night.
