Bears Volleyball Caps Stellar Season with 23–8 Record and Tournament Title

The Riverside Poly Bears Girls Volleyball team wrapped up an outstanding 2025 season, finishing with an impressive 23–8 overall record and a runner-up finish in the highly competitive Ivy League. Along the way, the Bears captured the Ayala Tournament Championship, adding a major highlight to one of the program’s best seasons in recent years.

Throughout the season, the Bears showcased grit, teamwork, and consistency — earning key wins against some of the top programs in the region. Their strong league performance secured them a spot in the CIF-SS Division 3 Playoffs, where their journey came to an end Wednesday night against a tough Cypress Centurion squad.

While the season concluded earlier than hoped, the Bears have plenty to be proud of. With many key players set to return next year, the future looks bright for a program that continues to build momentum and tradition.

Head Coach Savalza praised the team’s effort and growth throughout the year, noting that the returning talent and experience will set the tone for another strong campaign in 2026.

Congratulations to the Bears on an incredible season — Ivy League runners-up, Ayala Tournament champions, and a 23–8 record that reflects hard work, dedication, and heart. The future is bright for Bears Volleyball!
