The Riverside Poly Flag Football team delivered a dominant performance in Saturday’s competition, securing back-to-back victories over two tough rivals. The team first faced the Yucaipa Thunderbirds, winning decisively with a score of 24-7. They then continued their winning streak against the Canyon Springs Cougars, shutting them out completely in a 20-0 victory. This impressive showing highlights the team’s strength and determination on the field. Currently, the Bears are 3-1 and will face the Lakeside Lancers at Riverside Poly, Tuesday Night, 6 pm start time.

Adding to the excitement, the Junior Varsity Bears squad also contributed to the team’s success by sweeping their recent matches, further extending their undefeated season. The JV team’s consistent strong performance demonstrates the depth of talent within the program and promises a bright future for the varsity team. The Bears are currently 4-0 and will resume play on Saturday with a doubleheader versus Shadow Hills HS and San Gorgonio HS at Riverside Poly HS. The games start at 8:30 am.
