Bears Capture Undefeated Ivy League Title, Set Sights on CIF Playoffs

The Bears Water Polo team made history this season, completing an undefeated run through Ivy League play to claim the league championship in dominant fashion. The Bears finished the regular season with an impressive 20–8 overall record, showcasing their depth, discipline, and relentless competitive spirit from start to finish.

Behind strong team chemistry and outstanding play on both ends of the pool, the Bears rolled through league opponents, earning the program’s latest Ivy League Championship in undefeated fashion (45th in Riverside Poly History). The title marks another milestone in what has been a statement season for the Bears, who now turn their attention to the postseason.

The Bears enter the CIF-SS Division 2 Playoffs as the No. 2 overall seed, positioning them among the top contenders for a championship run. They’ll open the playoffs at Riverside Poly on Wednesday, taking on the Cate High School Rams in what promises to be an exciting matchup.
