Bears Advance to Quarterfinals After Thrilling 20–14 Win Over Eagles
The Riverside Poly Bears continued their playoff run in exciting fashion on Saturday Afternoon, defeating the Chaminde Eagles 20–14 in the Second Round of the Division 4 CIF-SS Flag Football Playoffs. The hard-fought victory keeps the Bears’ postseason hopes alive as they move on to the quarterfinals next week at Temecula Valley High School. The game is scheduled to start at 5 pm at Golden Bears Stadium in Temecula.
The win comes on the heels of the Bears’ playoff opener on Tuesday, when they earned a 33–26 victory over the Temescal Canyon Titans to start their playoff journey. This avenged an earlier season loss to the Titans. Both games showcased the Bears’ determination, teamwork, and ability to make big plays when it mattered most.
With back-to-back playoff wins, the Bears now advance to face the Temecula Valley Golden Bears on Tuesday in a highly anticipated quarterfinal matchup. The game will be played on the Golden Bears’ home field, and fans are encouraged to come out and show their support as the Bears look to continue their playoff push.
Come out Tuesday and cheer on the Bears as they fight for a spot in the semifinals! GO BEARS!
