Last-Second Heroics Lift Flag Football Team to 14-12 Victory

With just eleven seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter, the visiting crowd erupted as the Lady Bears Flag Football team pulled off a dramatic 14-12 win in a nail-biting finish Monday evening.

Trailing 12-8 in the final moments, quarterback Brooklyn Snider found wide receiver Alyssa Mitchell in the corner of the end zone for a clutch touchdown, giving the Bears a two-point lead and sending fans into a frenzy. The defense then held strong on the final possession, sealing the win in a game that will be remembered for its intensity and heart-stopping conclusion.

Coach Meech always tells the team to “play to the whistle” and that’s exactly what the Bears did.

Earlier in the evening, the JV team also delivered a strong performance, earning a 28-20 victory in a high-energy matchup that showcased their growing talent and teamwork.

Both squads now look ahead to their next challenge. The varsity team will be back in action on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., hosting the Moreno Valley Vikings. With momentum on their side and playoff hopes alive, it’s a matchup fans won’t want to miss.
