ATHLETIC CLEARANCE
Quick steps for parents/students using the online athletic clearance process.

Online Athletic Clearance
1. Visit www.HomeCampus.com and choose your state.
2. Register. PARENTS register with a valid email address for the username and a password. You will be asked to type in a code to verify you are human. If this step is skipped your account will not activate. (If this step is skipped, please contact us to activate your account)
3. Login using your email address that you registered with
4. Select “Start Clearance Here” to start the process.
5. – Choose the School Year in which the student plans to participate. Example: Football in Sept 2025 would be the 2025-2026 School Year.
– Choose the School at which the student attends and will compete for.
– Choose Sport (You can select multiple sports to include all of the sports you plan to participate in)
6. Complete all required fields for Student Information, Educational History, Parent/Guardian Information, Medical History and Signature Forms. (If you have gone through the HomeCampus.com process before, you will select the Student and Parent/Guardian from the drop down menu on those pages)
7. You might be asked to upload some documents on the “Files” page, including the physical. There are multiple ways that you can scan a document and upload it on the website (printer/scanner, mobile app, etc.). Perhaps the simplest way is to take a picture of it on your phone and then upload it. However, you might need to merge those images or PDFs into one file. 8. Optional Donation to your athletic program or pay participation fees (private schools only).
9. Once you reach the Confirmation Message you have completed the process.
10. All of this data will be electronically filed with your school’s athletic department for review. When the student has been cleared for participation, an email notification will be sent.
Online Athletic Clearance FAQ
What is my Username?
– Your username is the email address that you registered with.
Multiple Sports
– When you begin your clearance, you will have the option to select multiple sports that you plan to participate in. PLEASE ONLY CHECK OFF SPORTS YOU KNOW YOU WILL PLAY. Don’t just check ones because you are interested in those. If you decide to participate in an additional sport/activity later on, you can add sports to your clearance by doing the following:
- Click “+ Sport”
- Check off the Sports to Add & Click Next
- Verify the application information previously entered is correct.
- If no changes are necessary, click “No Updates”
- If changes are needed please click “Make Changes,” update the information and click Save & Continue.
- Once you have gone through the entire application you will receive the Confirmation Message and the Sport will be added to your Clearance Applications.
- The school will need to review the new sport before clearing the student-athlete for participation.
Physicals
The physical form your school uses can be downloaded on the Files page. Most schools will accept the physical online (done by uploading the completed form to the “Files” page) as well as turning in a hard copy to the athletic department.
Files
You can access any files that you have uploaded to your applications by clicking on the “Files” tab of the clearance application that you uploaded it to. Including files that have been uploaded to applications done for a previous year.
Why haven’t I been cleared?
Clearance time varies from school to school as each school is responsible for clearing their own athletes. If you need a time estimate or you need the process expedited, please contact your school’s athletic department.
My school / sport is not listed!
If your school or sport is not showing up as an option for the year you are trying to register for, your school has either closed the registration, or has not yet opened registration. You can contact your school’s athletic department to find out when they plan to have registration open, or how they would like you to proceed.
