Coach Dimas Acosta
Assistant Coach – Volleyball | Riverside Poly High School

Coach Dimas Acosta enters his fourth season with the Riverside Poly Volleyball Program, bringing a deep passion for the sport and a strong connection to the local volleyball community.

A native of the Corona/Riverside area, Coach Acosta began his volleyball journey in sixth grade through a local youth program, where he quickly earned recognition for his skill and leadership. He continued his development at La Sierra Academy, where he was a four-year letterman, two-time team MVP, Inland Coast League MVP, and was honored as the school’s Multi-Sport Senior Scholar Athlete MVP. His club experience includes time with Bravo Volleyball Club, one of the area’s most competitive programs.

After high school, Coach Acosta initially turned his focus to coaching, but his passion for playing remained strong. He is currently completing his collegiate volleyball career at La Sierra University, using his final year of eligibility to compete at the next level. In addition to his playing and academic pursuits, he coaches the 15-1’s team at Pipeline Volleyball Club, where he helps develop the next generation of athletes.

Coach Acosta is proud to continue his coaching journey at Riverside Poly, where he is dedicated to contributing to the program’s legacy of excellence and growth.
